Ronnie Vanhook, local resident and sports photographer for Franklin High School, recently saw two of his grandsons win state championships for Taekwondo in Georgia.

Micah Hollowell, 15, (above) and Jase Hollowell, 10, (below) each took first place in their respective age groups in May. Jase also won the southeast regional title for Traditional and Creative Weapons in June.

Both boys went on to compete in the American Taekwondo Association World Championship in Phoenix in July, where Jase finished third in Sparring.

And we know that to them that love God, all things work together for good, even to them that are called according to his purpose.
