At the Feb. 4 Franklin High School men’s basketball game, Coach Doug Plemmons was officially recognized as having presided over more than 600 wins.

The game that evening against Swain made it 602 wins, but Plemmons actually achieved his 600th win after a 55-43 victory over North Henderson on Jan. 31. Coach Plemmons is now part of the exclusive North Carolina High School Men’s Basketball 600 Win Club.
