Bryson and Ashlyn Burt were recently crowned Mardi Gras king and queen at the annual REACH fundraiser event held at JR Chophouse on Main Street in Franklin. The couple competed against three other couples for the honor. The event raised $40,000 to support REACH’s services that assist individuals affected by domestic abuse or trafficking, including a 24-hour crisis line and textline, crisis counseling, emergency shelter, court advocacy, medical accompaniment, and educational services.
