Nathan McAllister has been awarded the  Morehead-Cain scholarship. McAllister is a Franklin native and Franklin High School senior. He has been involved in the martial arts since he was five years old and currently is the Lead Black Belt Instructor at Danny Antoine’s Martial Arts Academy. After an extended process that included essays and interviews in a high-pressure competition, he was selected out of 2,500 applicants to receive the scholarship, which is a full ride to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Senior Orrin Mynes has been selected to receive the prestigious University of Tennessee Volunteer Scholarship. The competitive scholarship is awarded to outstanding students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievements, leadership, and a commitment to service.
