The Folk Heritage Association of Macon County (FHAMC) recently had a planting day at the new Women’s History Park in downtown Franklin to create a native plant garden.

In March 2024, FHAMC donated the historic sculpture “Sowing the Seeds of the Future” to the Town of Franklin as public art. On June 26, former FHAMC Chair Anne Hyder (below) was given the Folk Heritage Award for her hard work and dedication.
