The Town of Franklin is disappointed to have to share that the new inclusive play area at Sunnyside Park has been vandalized (tagged) with paint.
The graffiti can be removed, and the play equipment property cleaned and pressure washed; however, in addition to the supplies and staff time, additional costs will be incurred for rental of higher fencing to protect the site and to clean the concrete.
There was also a nearby tree that was tagged, as well as the port-a-john on site. Cameras around the site are being reviewed to assist in identifying the individuals who have defaced this play area that has not even opened.
