When J.R.’s Pro Rodeo comes to town, it’s exciting for the kids and the kids-at-heart.

This year’s event was just in time to get people revved up for the 250th. J.R. rolled into town with a rollicking good time.

And frankly, is there anything more American?

Macon Sense’s intrepid reporter Deb Prince made her way to the event, and shared some photos.

Deb’s message to us from the event, “Phones only – I have a cheap old Samsung Galaxy android. Just kept hitting  the button! As I have learned over the years, out of hundreds of photos, you might get a handful of decent ones. I was on my feet all evening, seeking good light, angles and opportunities.
