Friday was another showcase for the new Panther Pit as the football team took on Rabun County in a scrimmage.

Though it didn’t count, sideline reporter Ronnie Vanhooks said Franklin outscored Rabun 45 – 7 (including the JV).

Obviously, offense looked good with standout junior fullback Garrett Young earning some crowd reaction (see above).

The team officially starts the season with non-conference opponent Murphy on Friday at Murphy.
