Thinking upon the complexities of nature while scanning over grassy fields, the mystery’s that lie deep within the dark misty forest, springs that bubble from the depths of earth, make their way to unknown destinations. All carry a balance, yet there’s a mystery that draws us into a sense there’s something magnificent behind what’s not fully understood.
The giving and taking of life itself has its mystery. Most celebrate the arrival of a newborn with such innocence. Whether in the womb or of age, they themselves would choose life, but many have no choice. It’s others who decide whether they live or die.
It’s as though we ourselves decide over whose life is of value. Yet, we all in one way or another, live under a death sentence. Deciding is not our choosing, it’s for the One who creates and takes away. Death becomes our bitter pill.
Life’s value is brief, it lie’s between the coming of birth to our last breath. I’ve always thought this a bit strange, we celebrate the beginning of life coming into our world, yet knowing their life will have its ending. It seems strange yet unfair at the same time. If we could only change the pain, the unavoidable, but we know we can not.
There have been those at life’s end that have raised their fist at God that allows such a thing. Those who blame God, must more so blame themselves. Humanities search for a life with love, truth, justice the things we say we want, are masked in our selfishness, bitterness and hate. We witness this daily in our cultural and political worlds. Some encourage and celebrate dead of those they appose or are inconvenient. Leadership and those of prominence often carry it’s torch, and without questioning…. many follow the pipers tune.
I feel the tension of our lives lye deeper than the economy, gas and food prices. While these are obvious issues. I feel it’s more the confusion and uncertainty of a world questioning the worth of life itself.
We’ve become soft and sway which ever way the winds may blow. Because we don’t need God and many believe we’re part god and god is part of us. Rebellion towards our nation and anything that reflects a God or Deity is now in vogue, and your either a racist or given a label that belittles your stand of anything moral or supports a value of God Himself.
We’ve become hard and bitter, yet soft because we stand for everything, yet doing so, we stand for nothing. Crime is celebrated, truth is now what you make it, we no longer fine justice. All because man is his own god, yet the very thing we say we want only comes from God.
No one has ever explained to me, where else do we find these things? If you can tell me where Justice, Truth, Morality and Love is founded on, I would love to hear it. From our past to our present, I find this in no other than the Divine God Himself.
Dedicated to my Granddaughter AJ whose life was given one hour.
