Carol Ward: 1947 - 2026
Carol Ward, 78 of Bryson City, North Carolina, passed from this life to her eternal home on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.
Carol was a faithful member of Cherokee Pentecostal Holiness Church. At a young age, Carol accepted Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior. She devoted her life to serving God through various mission works. She volunteered at Snowbird Youth Center where her passion was working with Native American children. She was an ordained pastor and founder of Golden Arrow ministries.
Carol loved the outdoors and nature. She enjoyed sitting by mountain streams and waterfalls admiring the beauty of God‘s creation. She also enjoyed writing poetry.
Carol loved her family, friends and her intercessory prayer team.
She is preceded in death by her parents – Marvin and Jean Sisk, brother – Kevin Sisk and great niece – Kaitlyn Cherry.
Left to cherish her memories are her sister-Sheila Garrison, nephews – Lance (Amy)Thompson, Nathan (Jamie)Sisk, niece-Heather (Tommy) Copeland, great nieces-Lauryn Loveless, Ansley Sisk, great nephews – Hayden Copeland, Dawson Thompson, Chase Nyman, Gage Nyman and numerous great – great nephews and nieces.
Carol will be laid to rest at Cool Springs cemetery in Forest City, North Carolina. Carol was a wonderful sister, aunt and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
