Back in the day, I worked for the Macon county NC sheriff’s office for approximately 16 years. I was on my about 8th year under the administration that was prior to sheriff Holbrook’s administration.
I just want to let the people of Macon County know that what they’re experiencing from the sheriff’s office will end eventually soon. The reason the still exists is the prior administration’s practices keep showing its ugly face.
When the last follower of that administration is gone which were just a couple of people away it will all change for the better at least that’s my hope for Macon county. I grew up in Cullowhee, NC but I view Macon County as my home as well. My son and daughter still reside there. These patterns are not surprising to me in any way form or fashion. Especially when you know the leader better than the leader knows himself.
I just wanted to voice that to whoever’s reading this and I’m sure that’s as far as it’ll get.. that’s the other problem in Macon county. Nobody wants to be a reporter anymore.
Hopefully that will change too and accountability will be a real thing in Macon county. Thank you for your time and ROLL TIDE!!!
