In 1998, club member Nancy Reeder left the classroom after 23 years teaching elementary students to become a storyteller with no idea where that would take her. Teaching English as a Second Language in South Korea, exploring the vastness of Australia, Thailand, and even driving a U.S. rental car through Mexico, all along the way, stories found her. Then she discovered long-distance hiking. She completed the Appalachian Trail and the Pacific Crest Trail, and during those hikes, she gathered many more stories.
