Molly Stamey: 2003 - 2026

Our girl, Molly Jane Stamey, born August 31, 2003, in Macon County passed away unexpectedly on May 13, 2026 in Franklin. Molly was a free spirit and choosing her own path in life meant everything to her.

She is the only daughter of Jessica Stamey, her mom and her biggest fan. On her mother’s side she has a little brother, Jesse Holden, who loves her to pieces and will always hold her close to his heart. A stepdad, Michael Hoagland, who she knew was always just a phone call away. Her nanny, Donna Holden, who Molly knew would always come through for her and support her. Other family on her mother’s side include Uncle Donnie Holden and Aunt Amanda. And Brooklyn Vargas, stepsister.

She is the first daughter born to Jason Stamey, she was such a daddy’s girl when she was little and held a strong bond with her dad. On her father’s side she is survived by; her nanny, Jennifer Stamey, who Molly knew she could always count on and grandfather, Jeff Stamey. A half-sister, Mackenzie Stamey, and an Aunt Jodie Bates.

Preceded in death by the best great uncle a girl could have, Weaver Shuler.

The family will hold a private service at a later date.
