Jean Mills

Jean Mills: 1942 - 2026

Jean Zetta Mills, native of Macon County, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at the age of 83. She is preceded in death by parents Roy and Pearl Sanders; her husband, James Mills; brothers, Glen and Lee Roy Sanders; sister, Janice Heflin; and son Cameron Mills.

She was a beloved and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was very artistic and creative. She had a passion for reading, sewing, and baking. She was steadfast in her faith and beliefs. She lived a beautiful full life.

Jean is survived by her twin, Gerald and wife Phyllis Sanders; sons, Preston and Wesley Mills; six grandkids, Chris Mills, Chelsey Mills, Dustin Mills, Tori Fair, Austin Mills, and Candace McBride. Along with ten great grandkids. Some of her final words were that she loved her family dearly and hoped the best for them in life.

"He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." Revelation 21:4
