Parade and Ceilidh (party)
- 6:00 p.m. – A kickoff parade down Main St., followed by the Ceilidh (pronounced kay-lee – Scottish for party) at the Gazebo – corner of Iotla and Main St. in downtown Franklin. People are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets or both.

Highland Games and Festival
Macon County Fairgrounds (1436 Georgia Rd.)
9 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Three gates to purchase tickets
- Admission:
- Ages 12 and up: $15;
- Ages 6-11: $5;
- Under age 5: Free
- Bring your own chair
- Highlands Games Competition
- Axe throwing
- Herding Dog and Birds of Prey demonstrations
- Viking reenactors
- Clan tents and parade
- Pipes and Drums and bands on stage
- Bonniest knees and Haggis Hurl Contests
- Childrens Area: Must Have Family to Monitor Physical Activity
- Craft Vendors: Building D at gate
- Food Vendors: Three Scottish food vendors plus the American Legion Riders will be offering hot dogs.

Sunday, June 21
Downtown Franklin, NC
- 10:00 a.m. – Franklin First Presbyterian Church
- Our Worship Service will include the Kirkin O’ the Tartans: wear your tartan, hear the bagpiper play, and hear our Presbyterian men sing “How Great Thou Art”. A luncheon in Tartan Hall will follow the service. All are welcome!
