Carol Holland Ashe

Carol Holland Ashe: 1944 - 2026

Carol Holland Ashe, age 81, passed away on June 6, 2026, at her residence. Born on December 7, 1944, in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Ila Potts Holland.

Carol was a devoted member of Cullasaja Assembly of God, where she sang in the choir and lovingly cared for children in the nursery whenever she was able. She found joy in working in her yard, especially tending to her flowers and garden. Carol also cherished long conversations with her friends and treasured every moment spent with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Van and Keith Holland; and her precious son, Jimmy.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Roy Ashe; two daughters, Sherry and Debbie; one step-daughter, Maria; two step-sons, Kenneth and Darrell; six siblings, Tela Bolick (Bobby), Boots Bolick (Larry), Philip Holland (Elaine), Alvin Holland (Sharon), Mary Sue Sanders (Ray), Alice Taylor (Perry); five grandchildren; six step‑grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12pm on Saturday, June 27th, at Cullasaja Assembly of God.

The family wishes to thank Four Seasons Hospice for their exceptional care and compassion they provided during her illness.
