The Franklin Bird Club leads free, weekly bird walks that are open to the public every Wednesday morning from now through September. Each walk starts at 8 am. The meeting point rotates among three locations along the Greenway in Franklin. Walks last about 2 1/2 hours, and are weather dependent. The schedule for the upcoming walks is:
May 13: Big Bear parking lot near the dog park area
May 20: Salali Lane parking area
May 27: Macon Co Library parking lot
