Chad Keith Shuler

Chad Keith Shuler: 1976 - 2026

Chad Keith Shuler, 49, of Cordova, SC, formerly of Franklin, went to be with the Lord on June 20, 2026. Chad was born in Macon County, on August 25, 1976, to the late Douglas Shuler, and Marilyn Shuler, who survives him.

Chad graduated from Franklin High School. He then worked for many years as a maintenance mechanic in food manufacturing. He was of the Baptist Faith and was baptized at Iotla Baptist Church. He was a member at Iotla and considered this to be his home church even after he moved. He enjoyed raising chickens and spending time with his dog Roper. He liked to travel as well. He never met a stranger and was a very positive person with a kind heart.

He is survived by his mother, Marilyn Fouts (Jim); his life partner, Jennifer Etheredge; two children Kayla Shuler and Gage Shuler; three brothers Derek Shuler, Dalton Shuler, and Micheal Tallent, and one granddaughter, Hope.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by grandparents, James and Wilma Roper and Perry and Lorena Shuler.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026, at 11:00am, at Iotla Baptist Church. Rev. Steve Reeves and Rev Caden Fouts will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until 11:00am prior to the service.
