Larry “Chris” Christopher Cox: 1963 - 2026

Mr. Larry "Chris" Christopher Cox, 62, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2026. He was born November 24, 1963, in Onslow County, NC to the late Larry F. Cox and Katherine Prince Poindexter.

Larry worked in the logging industry for many years and loved the outdoors. He especially enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Rachel E. Lee Cox; his children, Brian Cox (Heather Estes), Christina Cox (Shane Johnson), and Amber Boyleston; as well as 12 grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Jerry Poindexter.

A private graveside service will be held at Burningtown Baptist Church Cemetery.
