Linda Gail Roper: 1958 - 2026

Ms. Linda Gail Roper, 67, of Franklin, NC, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2026. She was born June 18, 1958, in Macon Co., NC to the late Jackson T. Roper and Betty Jewel Reece Roper.

Ms. Roper graduated from Franklin High School in 1976 before attending Berea College in Kentucky. Gail first worked at Kountry Kampground before going on to co-own K Fashions with her mother. She enjoyed traveling to Florida and Lake Chatuge with her mother. She was a caregiver to her parents and family, as well as a loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Gail was a member of Louisa Chapel.

Ms. Roper is survived by her siblings, Gerald D. Roper (Katherine), John Roper (Linda Jackson), George E. Roper (Pam), and Susanne R. Holland (Kevin); seven nieces and nephews, Benjamin Roper, Abigail Crabtree, Jackson Roper, Camron Roper, Anissa Holland, Claire Holland, and Callie Roper; and five great-nieces and nephews.

A Private Service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery.
