Ricardo Benjamin Grimmett: 1955 - 2026

Mr. Ricardo Benjamin Grimmett, 70, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2026, surrounded by loved ones in his Franklin home.

Ric was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Alec and Cleo Grimmett.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Teresa (Terri) Grimmett, they built a family raising two children, Ben (Danielle) and Breanna (Wonseok). Ric was a proud grandfather to four beautiful grandchildren, Malakai, Adayla, JiYoon, and Mina. He is also survived by his sister Beth Trammell and a brother, Russ Grimmett.

Ric was an avid outdoorsman who found joy in working in his shed or spending time out on his boat fishing. He especially loved being with his grandchildren, teaching them how things worked and sharing the his knowledge and curiosity with them. Known for his one-of-a-kind sense of humor, Ric had a gift for making everyone laugh. He will be especially remembered for his craftmanship, his passion for life, and warmth he brought to those around him.
