Tiesha Mary Freeman: 1996 - 2026

Tiesha Mary Freeman, 29, of Franklin, NC, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 29, 2026. She was the beloved daughter of Charles Freeman Jr. and Nichole Ann Bennett.

She was preceded in death by her infant son, Joziah Lamar Bennett; her grandparents, Charles Freeman Sr., Mary Alice Freeman, and Wayne and Crystal Bundy.

A lifelong resident of Macon County, Tiesha attended Franklin High School and was connected to her community. She attended Holly Springs Baptist Church and First Baptist Church. She had a tender, generous heart and a deep love for the outdoors. Whether she was at the lake, camping, or simply enjoying nature, she found peace in being outside. Tiesha adored her dogs and was known for caring for injured animals—squirrels, possums, or anything that needed a gentle hand.

Tiesha’s personality lit up every room she entered. She was respectful, hardworking, organized, and driven, always ready to help anyone who needed her. She looked out for her friends and their children, earning the affectionate title of “Auntie to all.” Her kindness was instinctive, and she always made time to show up for others.

She is survived by her parents, Charles Freeman Jr. and Nichole Ann Bennett; her sister, Ziona Crystal Bennett; her uncle, James Bundy; her aunts, Cassie Marie Demme, Glenda Jacobs; and several cousins.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 12th, from 1-2pm at Macon Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow in the Chapel at 2pm, with Bishop Adam West officiating.
